Christmas Gifts for Her

For many years, a lot of different males in my life have come to me to help them buy a Christmas gift for a special women in their life. I have been sent on a mission to shop for my mom, my mother in law, my aunts, siblings, friends, etc. My husband even comes to me for help with what I would like each year LOL. I thought it would be a fun idea to put together a list of things that I think would make special gifts for Christmas this year. This post isn’t just for my male readers but by all means if you would like to get some good gift ideas for the special ladies in your life, keep reading.

Jewelry: This will always be considered a special gift. I will forever cherish the necklace my husband got me on our first Christmas together (From Tiffany’s shown above). What’s good about Jewelry is there is a big variety when it comes to price points too. I have linked some of my favorite options this year and have it separated out by brand.

Tiffany & Co.

I was fortunate enough to get a lot of Tiffany blue boxes throughout my life thus far. My parents are big fans of the brand so my sisters and I got special gifts from Tiffany’s to celebrate different milestones in our lives since we were little girls. My husband also loves shopping for me there as well. Below are some of my favorite pieces I still wear all the time and are still sold today. This just goes to show how timeless the brand really is.

David Yurman

Another one of my favorite Jewelry brands. They make such beautiful pieces with your birthstone.

Perfume: Scent is one of the more personal things you can get someone. I would save this more for your wife or your mom if you know she has a favorite or if she has said in the past that she was looking to try something. However, if you know what she likes, scent can be a beautiful gift to give someone special. Even if you go and pick it out together. There are a lot of really Luxurious scents at the moment. I have a few favorites at the moment.

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Le Parfum

Fragrance story: The first parfum in the Libre collection, Libre Le Parfum is the most concentrated and longest-lasting perfume in the collection. An olfactive tribute to the spicy Fleurs de Feu praised by Mr. Saint Laurent himself. A burning blend turning up the temperature and twisting the iconic Libre scent with a spicy and warm take.

Hermès Twilly d’Hermès – Twilly Eau Ginger Eau de Parfum

Fragrance story: Twilly Eau Ginger, the sparkle of the Hermès girls. A dazzling perfume woven with three materials—a generous, vibrating peony, a bright candied ginger, a supple and lively cedarwood. Yesterday they were mischievous, then spicy, and today they are joyful, bright and sparkling.

Jo Malone London™ Peony & Blush Suede Cologne

Fragrance story: Peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile. Flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gillyflower. Mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede. Luxurious and seductive. Red apple opens the fragrance. A crisp note that captures the mouth-watering juiciness of apple, opening the fragrance with an innocent, fruity twist. Peony defines the heart. It is an exquisite floral with delicate rose and honey accents and a subtle, green freshness, filling the fragrance with the scent of peonies just as they unfold. Suede illuminates the base. It is a supple, textural note, complementing the floral opulence of peony and bringing enticing sensuality to the fragrance.

Handbags: There are so many different price points for handbags and a lot of great deals with the Holidays quickly approaching. You could get a beautiful, leather handbag for as little as $100 these days. I used to work for 2 different Handbag companies in college so I know a lot about the different leathers used to make certain handbags and I have seen some of the cutest options lately. Some of these I even have on my wishlist. Contemporary designer handbags are becoming more popular and I have always loved these brands. They are beautifully made and really practical. You can find a handbag for any occasion.

What I Got For Black Friday

Since these days, Black Friday is generally the entire month of November, I thought I would do a post on the things we grabbed this year during the great sales. As a homeowner, Black Friday can be fun if you are looking to upgrade things around your home. I also tend plan out my Christmas gifts for people in advance and buy a bulk of them during the sales. Some stuff comes back each year so its nice to stock up on things you know you already love too. It seems like this year the sales are really good so here is what I got for Black Friday… so far…LOL

Cashmere Sweaters: These are one of the grabs I have started buying every year to add to my wardrobe as I have gotten older. They are really great basics to have for putting together winter outfits. Plus, they really are so warm and cozy. I have enjoyed adding a few to my closet each year. This year I added some of their cardigans as I have some of this brand’s crewneck and turtleneck sweaters from years past. I enjoy the quality of these and have found that they also make a really nice, luxurious gift for a special person in your life, like a mom or grandmother. This year my husband started add some to his closet as well. For a fabric that can run very much on the pricey side its a great time to buy because the prices are very good.

LG Styler Closet Steam: My husband and I have been talking about this one for a while. Its a really great appliance to add to your home if you have a lot of delicate fabrics that you need to launder. Between my husband and I, most of our clothing is hang dry so this is going to be a game changer for us especially for those winter fabrics. We have had it for less than a week and we are already obsessed with it. It allows you to clean those harder to clean fabrics, along with the annoying things like heavy, winter coats, suits, and bedding. It dries, sanitizes, steams, whatever you need. Honestly, the steaming alone is enough for me LOL. I can just throw it in on a quick 10 minute cycle and I am ready for whatever the occasion.

Ninja Blender/Food Processor: This specific combination is the one that is on special just about everywhere. We needed to pick this up because the blender we currently have doesn’t really work very well for our smoothies and shakes. Black Friday is a good time to buy those types of things you have been meaning to replace. We get a 3 in 1 with this model as they throw in a food processor attachment along with the individual blending attachments. A very good value if you are in the market.

A Popcorn Maker: This was only $15 and I do not regret it one bit. In our house, we opt make our own popcorn. I was using this great silicone popcorn bowl that I got off of amazon which I really, really like but we make popcorn just about everyday so it was becoming a bit of a clean-up process & it burns the popcorn very easily if you are not careful. This was a necessary purchase for us as it pops right into the bowl and the clean up is much easier. This would also make a great white elephant/secret Santa gift for someone. And who doesn’t love popcorn?

Home Depot 6.5ft Christmas Tree: This is our second year in a row buying a home depot Black Friday Christmas Tree. If you didn’t know Home Depot makes the best trees out of all those big-box stores. Last year we got a 7.5ft mico-LED tree for $70 and this year they have that same one for $99 linked here. I wanted a smaller tree for my office space and I had originally purchased a small one from Walmart without lights. Once I saw this one for $50 I immediately returned the Walmart tree and got this one. Both models have multiple light settings and they are so full and fluffy. I still can’t believe this was only $50!

With more than a week to go I am sure there will be more so make sure to follow me on TikTok and Youtube to for lots of gift ideas and sales throughout the holiday season. I hope you enjoyed reading about what I got for Black Friday this year and if you got some good inspiration message me on Instagram and tell me what you ended up getting.

Disclaimer: Black Friday & sharing deals is fun but the greatest gift of this season is time with family and friends. Have a beautiful thanksgiving and cherish the time with your loved ones. I wish a wonderful holiday season & more to the person reading this post.

My Top 5 Amazon Home Favorites from August 2022

Who doesn’t love Amazon? Today I am going to be sharing my top 5 Amazon home favorites from August. I am constantly coming across things on Amazon that will make my life easier and August was a particularly good month as far as amazon home finds were concerned. I have had some great success so I thought I’d take some time to share what I found in case you were looking for some things to improve your home as well.

Life-Like, Real Touch Hydrangeas- I am someone who loves a beautiful floral but I have 3 little animals running around and they like to get into things so I am always weary about using real flowers around my home. My little guy, Hudson, is very curious and any flowers will absolutely be chomped on LOL. A lot of flowers are toxic to animals so I opt for a faux flower in some cases. I like faux flowers to look real & life like and a lot of those options can come with a hefty price tag. This set of 3 from Amazon is a decent price point. For your money you get 3 beautiful, life-like flowers you can touch and not even know they are faux. After ordering these I am honestly tempted to order more in another color because they are that good. I am in the process of decorating my office and had this crystal bowl I wanted to style on my coffee table. These come with life like, detachable stems and leaves which was perfect as I just wanted to use the hydrangea heads. I used two sets and I LOVE how this turned out.

Ziplock Bag Storage Organizer– I have had my eye on this for so long. I couldn’t decide if this was worth it or not but let me tell you, this saves you SO much space. I didn’t even realize how much space it would save me before ordering. I can fit way more, everything looks much neater, & a tidy drawer is something I truly appreciate.

Spice Jars- Now I honestly thought my husband would think that this one was totally “un-necessary” as they already come in jars but to my surprise when the box arrived he thought it was going to look “so cool.” He was right! They are oddly calming and they come with like 500 stickers that contain every single spice under the sun along with some blanks so it makes things much easier. Setting it up was fun and it allowed me to go through and chuck what was expired. We have a custom spice cabinet in our kitchen and these fit perfectly on the shelving. This will allow us to buy our spices in bulk and refill as needed.

Drill Battery Adapter for Your Dyson Cordless Vacuum– This one is hands down my favorite of the month. It is an attachment that replaces the battery on your cordless Dyson with a drill battery so you can get more use-time out of it. I saw this on TikTok and immediately ordered. When I tell you this more than tripled the amount of time we were able to Vacuum in-between charges, I was so excited. My husband said he even saw a difference in the suction power which is a double win. They have different ones depending on which drill brand and vacuum series you have. We have the Dyson V8 linked here.

GreenPan Ceramic Treviso Non-Stick Pans– If you haven’t looked into the health benefits of switching out your traditional non-stick pots and pans I highly recommend doing so. There is a lot of information out there and the conclusion I came to for our family was I was ready to make the switch. I know that not all ceramic pans are made equal which is another thing to watch out for when you are looking to make this change. I looked into some different brands and felt I could trust GreenPan. They have a variety of different options, I opted for their new Treviso line which is crafted from stainless steel for more even heating when cooking and to match our pots & pans set for a more cohesive look.

Those were my top 5 Amazon home favorites this month. There are always more great Amazon finds so I may make this into a series. let me know your thoughts in the comments. I have linked everything talked about in today’s post below. Any questions please never hesitate to reach out. You can also find me on Tiktok & Instagram. Talk soon.
